By now there are probably hundreds of general-purpose articles about industrial AR but we decided to write our own because a) people keep asking and b) we need to get our readers on the same page about the basics. Industrial AR refers to the use cases for Augmented Reality for factory productivity. Because AR is a powerful tool for managing information while industrial processes are information-rich the two go together very well.
